Pelé Little Prince Research Institute, founded in 2005, concentrates its efforts on the investigation of complex childhood diseases that are prevalent in Brazil and have limited diagnostic and treatment options. Its mission is to raise the percentage cure of such diseases. As a result, Little Prince has become one of the leaders in pediatric research in Latin America.
